Water problems rarely sit neatly within one discipline or one way of knowing.

Our first product
Mine Water Intelligence Platform
Mining is one of the most intensive ways in which human activity reshapes land and water.
Pits are excavated, drainage pathways altered, groundwater intercepted and water moved through newly constructed systems. Large volumes of waste remain in the landscape long after extraction ends. The consequences extend beyond the mine itself, through watersheds, ecosystems, communities and socio-environmental relationships that may continue to change for decades.
We do not take extraction as neutral, nor do we believe its consequences can simply be engineered away. The earth is more than a store of materials waiting to be extracted, and a different relationship with land, water and the material world is both possible and necessary.
Yet mining will continue for the foreseeable future. As long as it does, its consequences need to be confronted more fully: understood across longer timescales, anticipated before they become crises, and governed with greater care, transparency and accountability.
Mine-water management sits at the centre of that challenge. Hydrology, infrastructure, climate, operations, environmental obligations, monitoring, models and people interact across timescales ranging from today's operating decision to conditions decades after closure.
